Warm Goat Cheese and Honey Salad

Ingredients
4 servings:
- Goat cheese - 8 slices
- Lettuce
- Whole wheat bread - 8 slices
- Honey - About 8 teaspoons
- Salt and pepper
- Olive Oil - About 8 teaspoons
- Herbes de provence
Directions
- Wash, dry and tear the lettuce and place on a plate.
- Season with balsamic dressing, pepper and salt.
- Slice the bread and put one table spoon of honey on each slice of bread.
- Place the goats cheese on top, add olive oil and herbes de provence.
- Place in a hot oven until the cheese starts to go brown.
- Place the toasted bread on top of the lettuce and serve immediately.
Author's note
For those with a sensitivity to cow milk's cheese, this warm goat cheese salad is an excellent alternative. Also, honey goes really well with goat cheese. Enjoy!
