Sunburn Reliever

Ingredients
- Oatmeal - 1 1/2 cup
- Baking Soda - 1/2 cup
- Chamomile, lavender or bergamot essential oil - 10 to 20 drops
- Almond oil - 1 tbsp
Directions
- Grind up oats in a food processor (or buy oatmeal) and add it to a warm bath (not hot).
- Add baking soda, one of the essential oils (or a mix), and almond oil.
- Soak in the bath for at least 10 minutes for maximum effect.
- You can also rub sunburned skin with Aloe Vera after bathing.
Author's note
I find this sunburn soothing bath recipe very effective to relieve sunburned skin. A warm bath draws heat from the skin and when you add oatmeal, baking soda and other oils, it is even more soothing.
