Author's note

I find this sunburn soothing bath recipe very effective to relieve sunburned skin. A warm bath draws heat from the skin and when you add oatmeal, baking soda and other oils, it is even more soothing.

  • Oatmeal help with sunburn relief.
  • Baking soda is cooling and help the skin retain moisture.
  • Essential oils promote healing and also soothe the skin.
  • Almond oil help moisturize and restore your skin because it is rich in essential fatty acids.
  • Warm water increases circulation to the area while hydrating it, thereby speeding the healing process.
