Description | Pia Huber is a naturopath and acupuncturist. She combines acupuncture, acupressure and therapeutic massage (Tuina) with advice on diet, herbal and supplementary remedies, exercise, breathing and other lifestyle aspects to help her clients’ health problems. Based on her training Pia likes to combine her scientific mind and knowledge with the art of traditional medicines. Pia trained in Naturopathy and Acupuncture at the College of Naturopathic Medicine (CNM) which included a course in the Acupuncture department of the Jiangsu Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Nanjing, China. Pia then undertook two years postgraduate training as clinical supervisor at CNM and completed an intensive course in Tuina at Westminster University. She is a member of the British Acupuncture Council. Previously Pia practiced as a Pharmacist, completed a Biochemistry PhD (in Zurich, Switzerland) and worked as a research fellow in Biomedical Research at Imperial College, King’s College and University College London.
